It's an arrrrrgh moment

I have been working away this week on a UFO and was getting really excited about being ready to put it on the longarm...

But drat!   Some idiot stitched a border on wrong. It's going to be a rippit kind of day!   Where is that blasted seam ripper anyway?????    Why on a king size quilt, do these things seem to happen? Couldn't be a baby size, could it?

Hope your day is going better!

  2. I think you need to have a serious talk to that person.
But the problem is we both know this is not the first and it won't be the last time this happens. And that's just because this is the way we are!! Not quite perfect - but very close to it!!! :)

  3. Awww - hehe - Of course, on a king!! Happens to me - I turn it into a treat and watch a movie while I'm picking it out. :D (after throwing it down in disgust and walking away for a few hours, that is!)

  5. You're not alone there. I do nutty stuff like that ALL the time. Thank goodness somebody invented a seam ripper:)

  6. I was cursing my seam ripper the other day and then I remembered someone mentioning that seam rippers get dull. I think I've only had that seam ripper 10 years, maybe more. So it went in the trash and I used scissors. Now to get to the store.

  7. I recently got a little electric seam ripper. Looks kinda like an electric razor. It undoes a seam in nothing flat and doesn't hurt the fabric. I love it cause I seem to have a lot of seams to unsew!
