As for me... I just got back from my yearly trip to Albuquerque NM for the International Balloon Fiesta. It's also time I get to spend
with my BFF of 50 years!

We got a little crazy with a "not so new" craft this time.
You know how everything old becomes new again!

Remember those Folded Fabric Ornaments?

They're back!

And mine are all dressed up for Halloween.
What a fun way to do some scrap busting without sewing a stitch!
Oh yes, and if you follow MooseStashQuilting on Pinterest, you will see a new board I have created just for these.
I see a new addiction on the horizon!
;-)

The Balloon Fiesta was spectacular this year. The weather cooperated better than ever.

I love the special shape balloons

The Piranha was a new one!
Don't want to get bit by him, do ya?
:-)

I love the perspective on this flying dragon.

These bumble bees are always a crowd favorite.
It's a family event and the baby bee on the left is piloted,
by a brother who was paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident.
It took a few years for the FAA to approve him to fly,
but his special made basket allows for him to operate the balloon, proving that anyone can do anything they put their mind to.
I just love it!

Fish wars
LOL!!

It's always hard to pick a favorite...
but this is so me!
tee hee

A great day was capped off with a fabulous fireworks display.

That's it for another year!
Hope you enjoyed my little visit with the balloons!

See you Monday...my day for the Halloween Haunts blog hop!

  3. I hadn't caught up on the start of this hop so it looks like I have another lot of sites to visit when I finish here. I love what you have done with the Halloween decorations. You really have made the most of the designs on the fabrics. They are amazing and look like they need to be hanging on a spooky Christmas tree. Love 'em!
