Furry Friday

Just helping out our "Fur-Footed Friends" day!
The Island Batik Ambassadors have been sharing adorable
rescue animals on Fridays.
Today these two sweeties are looking for forever homes.

Just 4 months old, this adorable shepherd mix Gracey, is waiting to meet you at the Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley in Knoxville!

This elegant young tuxedo girl at Okefenokee Humane Society in Waycross Georgia,  is ready to bring her sophisticated style to a forever home.
You can find out more about others in your area, thru "Pet Finder"
HERE
Puts a whole new meaning to "let your fingers do the walking" doesn't it?
That's for those of you old enough to remember that jingle!
LOL!!
As for my guy...
...well, he's just not up for adoption
LOL!
He's a resident of this house, and
PetFinders doesn't adopt out "his" kind anyway!
;-)
You can also help our our friends by making kennel quilts for pets in need.
TQPM Small Kennel Quilt team is a group of volunteers who
put together small 12" x 18" quilts for shelter animals.

Quilt Pattern Magazine has all the information
You can find the current needs on the TQPM Facebook page
Our "Flying Quilters" quilt group has been making and sending
kennel quilts for almost a year now.
It's a great way to scrap bust and manage the stash...
...all while we sit and giggle the day away stitching!
Make sure you visit my fellow ambassadors today

MooseStashQuilting (your here)

A big shout out to these sponsors who support the
Piece for Shelter Pets Initiative.

Til next time...
Keep on Stitchin'

  2. My problem is that I want to keep all of the animals I see on these sites! I think I am better off looking at the bedding you are making as it it is much safer!
