Kennel Kwilt Krazy!

I told you last week that there was a lotta sewin' goin on at Quilt Club...
and we made it happen again this week.
Joi, delivered 43 Kennel Quilts to the Denver Dumb Friends League on Wednesday.
We recently received lots of Christmas fabric, to make kennel quilts with.
Many cats and dogs from Puerto Rico made there way here to Denver after the hurricane.
"Sew" we fired up our machines and went to work
Mach speed, it's said we were stitching.
LOL!!
Making sure all these new lil ones have a warm and comfy blanket for the holidays.

Isis King at the DDFL, was very appreciative. The Furry Friends from Puerto Rico are being adopted. and the Kennel Quilts are going home with the newly adopted pets. They have some in their "Mobile Unit" when they go to Special Adoption events around the Denver area.
Sounds like it's a win win for everyone!
If you would like to help out by making some kennel quilts for your local shelter
or the many in need across the country, we would love your help.
Check it out
Enjoy, all you little 4 legged friends!

Til next time...
Keep on Stitchin'

  3. Great work by all of you!! It never occurred to me that pets from Puerto Rico would find their way to Denver to be re-homed. What is the size for the quilts?
