Say It With Flowers Blog Hop Winners

Another great hop draws to and end...

I got so many great comments and ideas for gardens to visit from everyone. Thanks so very much.

I shared with many of you that I can't grow a flower to save my soul, and here is the proof... I should be embarassed to even post this, but what the heck, we're all friends here right!   :-)

Here is a photo of my snowball bush.

And this one is my mother in laws.
We both planted them the same day!
We live next door, so soil and things like that are the same???

WHY!

I have long given up on growing things, and am content with my
fabric gardens.  LOL!!

Now on to the winners...

*********************
My dad used to have a great vegetable garden. I loved going out there and getting the vegetables and eating them when they were just picked. Peas and tomatoes were my very favorites.

AND
Thanks for showing us your beautiful flowers! I don't often think of AK as having so many blooming flowers. And thanks for the giveaway! Oh... and I love your term "pigs!"

Girls, I have sent emails to each of you for your mailing information. I will get things in the mail to you as soon as I hear from you.

Thanks so much to all who stopped in and visited. My list of fabulous gardens to visit is quite extensive now, and for obvious reasons, I look forward to seeing each and every one of them!

  1. you know; sometimes it is just the soil or location....I have good luck with some things and none with others. My rhodedendron has lots of blossoms no leaves!! What is that????

  2. Your pictures made my day. I'm bad but not that bad. The real point is that you create. In dirt or in fabric and thread. Creation is wonderful, and you share your talents with others. I'm still laughing.............

  4. Congratualtiosn to the winners. Thank you fo r hosting the giveaway. Thats no so bad with the snowball bush. Maybe hers gets more shade as it seems to be in the shadow of the house. She probably fertilizes and waters hers routinely as well. And your slooks to be moe in the open which the elements raina dn freezeing cold may be more exposed to it just guessing. But le tme tell you this. We can't all be great at evething. if we pick one thing to specialize in thats what we do best. No how does her quilting look???? Probably no where as nice as your I bet. Be proud...and oh by the way maybe your Mother in law set you up for failure. She probably gave you the sickly baby tree to plant. Never can tell about those outlaws...I mean inlaws...lol....Do what you do best and forget all the rest.

  5. Oh, dear. Yes, I laughed!! But you can laugh at me in return. My mum lives in the same town as me. She can break a piece off any plant and get it to grow in the garden. I do the same and just end up with a stick. You and I are in the same boat!

  6. I'm so sorry that you don't have a green thumb. Maybe your mom can take care of your gardens too.
