Crazy Christmas Quilts

You all know that I love anything with a good sense of humor!   This year "seams" to be the year that crazy Christmas Quilts have caught my eye.

I told you about this one recently...
It's hot off the "binding" press, so to say!

"Ugly Christmas Sweaters" by Angie Padilla
Oh my gosh, I just can't tell you how much fun this was to make.

Pull on that wreath sweater and show your Christmas Cheer.
Frosty and his friends getting ready for the big day!
Oh Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree...
Can you say...coo-coo for Poinsettias?
Fly that little flake flag!
Candy Cane Christmas
Hang another ornie from your neck for me!
(you can hear it sung to the tune of
Tie a yellow ribbon round the old oak tree)

My favorite of course
and yes, you have seen it already!
tee hee
Last but not least! It could only get better if they actually lit up!

While I was quilting this, I actually had to shut of my long arm to watch Good Morning America's Ugly Christmas Sweater challenge. It was about the funniest thing I had ever seen.
What timing was that?
Whatever your sense of humor, I do hope it includes a holiday sweater!
;-)

  1. Finally taking some time out to read some blogs. This one is as stunning as the "I Spy", I think. Just lovely. Inspiring, yes, too. Thanks so much, Joan, for all you do for us out here. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

  3. I'm really not anti-social......it's all the fault of Google, that I'm a no-contact messager......anyone know how to deal with this? Write to me, if you do. prairiestitcher at centurytel dot net I'll answer, truly, I will. Thanks, Joan.

  4. What a different quilt! We don't tend to have ugly Christmas sweaters here in Australia as it is usually hot. Have a Merry Christmas, Joan.
