We Support You Blog Hop

When this hop was announced it just brought me right back...to remembering just how fortunate I have been. Blessed with good health, while so many others struggle.  I've lost loved ones to Cancer, but not Breast Cancer. I "so" wanted to participate in this hop, but to make it really meaningful, I needed to find someone who I could support with my project.

I approached Madame Samm with an idea. You see, my fellow bloggers have supported me for a very long time...now it was time to pay it forward.  I was able to find just the perfect person to support. Someone who has been part of our blogging world for a very long time.  Samm helped me in getting the information on just how to get my project to her. Happy Dance, Happy Dance!  There is nothing more rewarding in life than putting yourself out there, to lend a hand no matter the size. The joy that fills your heart...lets just say can not be measured.  As for my recipient, I hope you know just how special you are and just how much we are all pulling for you...

Have you ever seen so many pink moose?
It's the "Moosestash" here, and we just wanted to let you know that
all of us moose are sending our best wishes...

You have to just love the bra that Madame Samm designed,
along with the customized hanger.
What better way to make someones day!

If you remember you saw this fabric on my "Frozen" quilt,
only layered over a blue instead.

This lacy looking fabric was a piece I bought in New York last year at a
quilt retreat. The shop owner reminded me that it was see thru, and not
the best choice for quilting. I had a vision...and I'm so glad I did.
:-)
I sure hope she has more of these fabrics when I visit her in April,
cause I just love the look.

 Speaking of look...
Have you ever turned over your quilt and looked at the back?
Really looked at it.

I had to laugh...
Does it look like some one's glaring back at you?
LOL!!!!

And can you find the hidden hanger?

So thanks my special friend, you made
this hop complete for me!
Sending you 2...lets say "D" cups full of hugs!
:-)

Thank you Pat, for being a wonderful cheerleader!
We couldn't have done it without you!

Madame Samm...your our secret little treasure.
;-)
Don't forget it you have someone in your life who needs support, you can purchase,
The "We Support You" Friendship Quilt Pattern
for $12.00 by emailing Madame Samm directly at madamesamm@me.com)

Please be sure you stop by and visit my fellow bloggers today.
It's all about the love!

  37. Joan, you usually make me laugh and you did! And most of all you made me cry! You are a very, very generous lady (as I knew) and a great reminder to us all to be more charitable. May the wonderful lady who receives this quilt always know who much she is supported not only by you but also this community. Thank you for the reminder for all of us to do more for others. Tuesday night at Discipleship class, the pastor asked us who is at our gate (community) that we need to be serving? Wow! I guess when you get more than one reminder so close together, it's really important to sit up and take notice. Thanks for participating, the lovely, lovely quilt, and the message behind the quilt.
